Painting from Photographs
We are delighted to introduce a new course for everyone from beginners to seasoned artists! For centuries the world’s greatest artists have always learned their craft by studying the techniques, styles and works of the masters that came before them.
During the School term from September to June, you can join us for “Painting from Photographs”, a unique 6 week sessions Program. You have the choice of working in all visual art mediums including: oil paint, acrylic paint, watercolour, gouache, pastel, charcoal, pencil, graphite crayon, and pen & Ink.
Before your first session you may choose your image that you would like to create your own masterpiece from The Montreal Art Centre’s vast art reference library and a copy will be made for you. Or if you prefer the reference image for your work can also be your own that you bring to the class. Under the supervision of our professional instructor you will be guided through the program with professional guidance and critique to assure you that you will be ending your sessions with a fine finished work of art to be proud of!
