At the Griffintown Art School we want all of our students to feel pride in their work and a sense of belonging to the art community. For this very reason, we will be hosting the Griffintown Art School Students’ Exhibition, in both the Le Canal and Williams Street Gallery from March 16th to the 23rd, 2017, as our way of showing appreciation for the students’ continuous support and participation in the art schools’ growth.
This event will allow our students to display the artworks that they have created in the classes taken at the Griffintown Art School. You will be able to submit up to three pieces, each created in a different type of class.
A jury will choose the art works that will be displayed and the main criteria is to show the diversity of classes given at the Griffintown Art School and the wide range of styles and levels of our students.
We invite all students’ artists to participate with their friends and families at our opening vernissage on Thursday, March 16thth from 6 to 9 pm.
Submission deadline is March 3rd at 12 pm! Any works submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
*Please be aware that we expect a large volume of submissions. Submitting work DOES NOT mean your work will be displayed! We will be choosing the works, and sending confirmation emails by the end of the day on March 3rd with our decision. Thank you for your understanding.
